Q&A: Select answers to be added to the FAQ
Publish a Q&A answer as an FAQ and every group reads the same version, with any file mentioned in it made accessible as it is published.
Three bidders ask the same question in three different words. Three people on your side answer it, on three different days, with three slightly different answers. One of them is more generous than the other two. That is how a Q&A creates risk instead of managing it.
Answer once, publish to everyone
Publish an answer as an FAQ and it goes to every group in the data room, in one version. The next bidder who asks the question finds it already answered. Your side stops re-drafting the same answer, and no group ends up with a better version of the truth than another.
An FAQ can mention files. Access to a mentioned file is granted as the FAQ is published, so you are not publishing an answer that points at a document half the participants cannot open.
Categories keep a large Q&A navigable
Assign a category to a question, or recategorise a batch of them in one action. Categories survive the round trip through Excel, so exporting the Q&A, working on it in a spreadsheet and importing it back keeps the structure intact. A Q&A with several hundred questions becomes something you can filter, route to the right workstream and report on by topic.
