  • What level of user permissions does Entropia support?

    Entropia offers a highly flexible and granular permission system designed to adapt to different project needs.

    • Out of the box, it provides predefined roles such as Admin, Bidder, etc., each with clearly defined levels of access.
    • In addition, Administrators can create fully customised roles by combining permissions across document management, access control, user administration, Q&A, notifications, and security features.
    • This ensures that every participant in the data room only sees and does exactly what they are allowed to, maintaining both security and efficiency.

  • How secure is Entropia ?

    The security of our product depends on both our own controls and those of our sub-processors.

    • We host data with Scaleway, a leading European cloud provider certified to ISO 27001 and other international standards, ensuring that our European customers can benefit from a true sovereign solution.

    • On top of this, Entropia applies a Zero-Trust security model, meaning every user, device, and request is continuously verified with minimal access granted, providing protection that goes beyond compliance.

  • European Data Sovereignty, what's at stake?

    Some non-European laws, such as the U.S. CLOUD Act and FISA Section 702, allow American authorities to compel U.S.-owned companies to provide access to data, even if that data is stored entirely “in Europe”.

     

    This means that simply hosting your data in the EU is not enough to shield it from foreign surveillance. If your cloud provider is owned or controlled by a non-EU company, those laws can still apply.

     

    By partnering with Scaleway, which is fully European-owned and operated, we ensure your data is handled exclusively under European jurisdiction, removing the risk of access under non-EU laws.
